If your family needs more room, the answer may already be beneath your home. At Springfield Lakes, unused under-house space became a whole new living level: two bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a spacious living area.

A new internal staircase links the two levels, so the extra rooms form part of everyday life in the home. It’s a practical example for homeowners thinking about more bedrooms, another living space or making better use of a high-set house.
